Lisa has a keen interest in vestibular disorders and concussion.  She works in the Balance, Dizziness and Vertigo clinic and runs an acute concussion clinic.

Margaret Campbell imageMargaret Campbell, Physiotherapist

Margaret is a senior physiotherapist and one of the fourth-year student clinical supervisors. She is experienced in the management of all musculoskeletal presentations, with a special interest in neck and low back pain.

Margaret is a diplomaed McKenzie Method practitioner and lecturer with the McKenzie Institute, teaching their postgraduate courses in New Zealand. She is passionate about delivering physiotherapy care that is person-centred, which considers all aspects of an individual's health and wellbeing and promotes a focus on patient education for self-management.

Loren Davidson, PhysiotherapistLoren Davidson image

Loren Davidson is a new graduate Physiotherapist. She has a strong interest in all aspects of Physiotherapy to support people with ongoing health challenges, including musculoskeletal conditions and persistent pain experiences. Loren also has a keen interest in research that explores opportunities for supporting clinicians and patients in primary care settings, with a special interest in Temporomandibular Disorders.

Matthew is the Director of Clinics.  He has a special interest in functional analysis and its relation to pain and injury in sport.  This links well with his involvement in service provision for the University of Otago rowing and supported athletes from High Performance Sport New Zealand rowing.

Being able to improve someone's hauora is what Owen enjoys most about being a physiotherapist. He has had previous experience in private practice and sports. As well as working clinically he also has roles within the School of Physiotherapy as a clinical educator and kaiāwhina Māori.

Gerard is one of the third year and postgraduate student clinical supervisors. He has a special interest in the management of concussion, musculoskeletal conditions, and racquet sports rehabilitation. Gerard is currently undertaking his PhD investigating the relationship between the cervical spine and neuroendocrine system  in individuals with persistent post-concussion symptoms.

Nicole Farrell imageNicole Farrell, Physiotherapist

Nicole is interested and enthusiastic about all areas of Physiotherapy. Her background is predominantly musculoskeletal based both in private practice and on the side lines of multiple sporting codes. She has an interest in treating injuries based on directional biases (DMA Clinical Pilates) both in the clinic and gym setting. Her main drive is to educate patients on how important their own strength and conditioning is for injury self-management and prevention.

Clare is a senior Physiotherapist, and Student Clinical Supervisor with around 30 years of musculoskeletal experience. Postgraduate qualifications include a PGD in Sports Physiotherapy and a PGC in Acupuncture. Patient education, biomechanical analysis and exercise rehabilitation are areas of interest.

Chris works in our Balance, Dizziness, and Vertigo Clinic. She has an interest in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation.

Julian O'Hagan imageJulian O'Hagan, Physiotherapist

Julian has worked in multiple areas of physiotherapy nationally and overseas, predominantly in the health and education sector. He is currently based in our Balance, Dizziness, and Vertigo Clinic, which includes vestibular and concussion assessment, and rehabilitation in the paediatric and adult population. He has an interest in keeping up to date with concussion management and how to apply the polyvagal theory into clinical practice.

Ashleigh Taylor imageAshleigh Taylor, Physiotherapist

Ashleigh graduated in 2016 and has been involved in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy across a wide variety of codes and levels. She has a special interest in shoulder and knee injury rehabilitation. She has a passion for the value manual therapy has in management of such conditions and given this is currently involved in post graduate study in orthopaedic manual therapy.
