To recognise and mark the centennial of the School of Physiotherapy we have established a Centennial Appeal to provide support for ongoing postdoctoral opportunities within the school. These funds will underpin a collaborative research programme to improve the health and activity of people across the lifespan.
Your donations will enable post doctoral researchers at the School to undertake studies that evaluate novel physiotherapy interventions. These will mainly be directed towards outcomes of participation by specific population groups in physical activity, thereby enhancing health: for example in people with diabetes or frail older adults. Ultimately the research outcomes could help fund larger long term studies for the benefit of people across all ages.
When you choose to support the School of Physiotherapy Centennial Appeal, you are contributing towards the future of quality research within the School of Physiotherapy.
We will be launching our appeal on 27 November 2014 at our Community and Alumni Research evening. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for considering support for this Centennial Appeal.
