Are you an informal carer of a stroke survivor?

Ayesha care image for Carer StudyThis research study aims to create a mental wellness programme to improve well-being and coping skills of informal carers of stroke survivors.

In order to do this, we would like to know from informal carers their experiences of providing care to their family member, and what would best assist them to better adapt to the carer role.

You may be eligible to take part in this study if:

  • You are an adult informal carer – family/whānau member or friend - who provide unpaid personal care, support and assistance to a person who had a stroke six or more months ago.
  • You will be required to participate in 45 – 60 minute interview session with the researcher.

If you are interested in taking part please read over the attached information sheet.
