Thirst for Knowledge: How to fix a broken heart

Associate Professor Pete Jones works in the Department of Physiology at the University of Otago.

His research focuses on the intracellular mechanisms leading to regular contraction in heart muscle. When these processes go wrong, arrhythmia can occur, which can have serious consequences.

This month Pete will tell us about how furthering our understanding of how heart muscle contractions can lead to better heart health.

Hosted by the Department of Physiology and the Otago Museum.
