Information
This scholarship was established in 1994 to mark the 125th Anniversary of the foundation of the University of Otago, New Zealand's oldest university. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist an exceptional postgraduate research student from Malaysia to attend the University.
Applicants must be:
- obtaining their first Doctoral qualification
- a research student from Malaysia
Selection is based predominantly on academic merit and the applicant's potential for research.
Other than in exceptional circumstances, the Scholar will be required to return to his or her own country upon completion of their degree.
