Information
Established in 2019 by the University of Otago from a generous donation by the U3A Dunedin Charitable Trust, the U3A Dunedin 150th Postgraduate Award was created to support mature postgraduate research students at University of Otago with research or travel-related costs.
Eligibilty
Applicants must be:
- a PhD student or Master’s by thesis, preferably aged more than 35 years. Honours and Coursework Masters students are not eligible to apply; and
- enrolled at the University of Otago for the year of the Award.
Application
Applicants must submit:
- a completed application form including an indicative budget itemising research/travel costs proposed to be supported.
- a copy of their academic transcript if the applicant has not been previously enrolled at the University of Otago and is not yet admitted into their Masters or PhD programme;
a supporting academic reference from their supervisor.
