    Learning Outcomes

    Graduates of AVME720 will have:

    • Demonstrate how Crew Resource Management (CRM), human factors, and threat and error management may impact on safe aeromedical practice and patient care.
    • Describe and develop systems to identify and manage fatigue.
    • Identify potential clinical complications during aeromedical transportation and implement strategies into clinical care plans to reduce these clinical complications.
    • Describe special clinical conditions that can be adversely affected during aeromedical retrievals or transfers.
    • Apply the theoretical knowledge of aeromedical retrieval and transportation into independent clinical practice.
