HIST335 Special Topic: Victorian Britain

Popular opinion has it that Victorian Britain was a stuffy and conservative place, but tracing the extraordinary economic, social, political and cultural changes between the young Queen's ascent to the throne in 1837 and her death in 1901 reveals this era and this site of change as dynamic and exciting.
