    Overview

    Practical skills of advocacy, with an emphasis on trial skills and procedures. Designed for law students in their final year of study.

    This paper is designed to teach the practical skills of advocacy so that when students practise in Court, it can be done with a knowledge of the basics and an appreciation of what is required to perform successfully. The subjects covered include mitigation pleas, theory of the case, examination, cross examination, conduct in courts and appeals.
