    Overview

    This paper builds on the skills and techniques learned in SCOM 413, with an emphasis on Science and Natural History filmmaking from concept through postproduction. The paper culminates the production of a professionally executed 10-minute film which explores a science and/or natural history subject of the student's choice.

    Paper Structure

    This paper is structured as a mix of lecture, field and classroom/edit lab work. Lectures will usually take place on Wednesdays and hands-on fieldwork and/or edit time will take place on Thursdays.

    Hardware requirements: Students are required to provide 2x external drives to digitally store their creative projects during the semester
