- Paper Structure
- This paper is an analysis of various forms of narrative, from the early 20th century to the present day. Concepts such as intertextuality, enunciation, citation, communicative competence and subaltern studies will be used to discuss gender roles in the texts.

Students who successfully complete the paper will be able to:

- Identify significant literary techniques and themes within this corpus of texts
- Demonstrate advanced communicative competence through reading, writing, speaking and listening in Spanish
- Demonstrate an ability to reflect critically on readings
- Undertake research and present a well-informed research essay
- Demonstrate oral skills through a presentation in Spanish of their research topic
