The paper covers the following topics:

  • History of geodesy in New Zealand and geodetic surveys
  • GPS observables and errors
  • GPS models and techniques
  • Control survey methods and analysis
  • Terrestrial observations (horizontal and vertical angles, distance)
  • Land deformation in New Zealand
