Overview
Dunedin solicitor John Boyd Hamel (1933–1986) lectured part-time in business and trustee law in the Department of Accountancy and Finance from 1966 until his death.
He was also teaching co-ordinator of business law for the then Faculty of Commerce.
The tree was planted in his memory by his family.
