Nicholas Adams (1984–2005) came to the University of Otago from Ashburton in 2003 to study for a degree in Environmental Management, reflecting his life-long love of the outdoors.
As well as being a practical person, Nic was also academically gifted.
Sadly, he died suddenly during a Geography lecture in Archway 2 on 5 October 2005.
Nic was awarded a posthumous BSc degree in Geography.
