Description:
As per message from Logic Group: "On Monday the 17th of October construction work commences on the Lindo Ferguson Building, northwest section. The work encompasses scaffolding the entire NW section of the building, erecting a tent over the roof as the contractor will be replacing part of the roof, carrying out parapet strengthening, installing new windows, repairing brickwork and mortar, painting exterior plant and equipment and installing structural steel to the roof of the dissection room. We will also be replacing the exterior cladding and roof of the link walkways between Sayers, LFB and Adams buildings, we will have a large section of the carpark fenced off, but we will provide access for deliveries. Please note that the North access road into the LFB will be closed off for the duration of the project, the south entrance / exit will remain open throughout this time. Description:
Please be aware that building work will be starting in the main foyer of the Wellcome building on Monday 13th March.
Because of the tight space for entry and exit of the building in this area all work will start early in the morning and finish everyday by 8.30am and cleared away. Unfortunately this will stretch the job out but will it will be a safer enviroment and less noise distruption for all patrons of Wellcome.
If you need to enter the building before 8.30am Mon - Fri and work on the upper floors please use the loading bay entrance. If you require entry before 8.30am Mon - Fri and work on the ground floor please alert the tradesman before you enter and he will make sure you are safe to walk through.
