What we are doing to keep Unipol safe and clean at Level 2

What we are doing to keep Unipol safe and clean

• Our staff will be wearing masks and keeping their 2m distance.
• Our staff are staying away if they have cold or flu-like symptoms.
• We have spaced out cardio and weights equipment to allow for a space of 2 metres between people and placed a maximum limit on the number of people allowed in each space.
• We have increased our daily cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces.
• We have hand sanitiser placed all around the facility.
• All equipment borrowed from reception will be cleaned before being issued again.
• We have individual cloths or paper towels to sanitise equipment before and after use.
• Group Fitness Instructors will keep a 2m distance between themselves and others, wearing a mask before and after the class.

What you can do to keep everyone safe

To ensure the ongoing health and safety of everyone using Unipol we require your support with the following:

3. As per public health guidelines we advise you to wear a face covering whenever possible, but it is not a requirement when exercising and playing sports.
4. Sanitize your hands upon arrival and when you leave.
5. Always maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres between yourself and others.
6. Spray and wipe down all equipment before and after you use it.

Covid-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System)

What is the COVID-19 Protection Framework and My Vaccine Pass?

The Government has announced that as of this Friday 3rd Dec the COVID-19 Protection Framework will come into effect. This is the 3-level Traffic Light system approach to managing COVID-19 in the community, you can find out more about this system here.  The Government has also introduced a My Vaccine Pass which is now available to download my logging into here. My Vaccine Pass is an official record of your COVID-19 vaccination status for use within Aotearoa New Zealand. It will allow you to access certain events, gyms and venues operating under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic light system).

Will Unipol require me to have a My Vaccine Pass?

Yes we will require students, members, casual users, contractors and anyone else accessing the facility over the age of 12 to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
