Nutrition workshops @ UNIPOL – a must for busy students! Next one 16 August

Learn some nutritional tricks to keep your body optimally fuelled with our up and coming nutrition workshops. These one hour workshops include Healthy Eating and Creating the Perfect Meal, Workout Nutrition (get the most from your workouts) and Smoothies and Snacks (eating on the run) and are all designed with busy students in mind. 15th Annual Chaplaincy and Interfaith Group Peace Lecture: Can we think our way to peace? 20 August

Come and hear Dr Rachael Kohn, Australian author and religion and spiritually broadcaster speak. Monday 20 August, 6:15pm – 7:30pm at St David Lecture Theatre, followed by supper at All Saints Church Hall. Nau mai. Haere mai. All welcome.

Give plasma on campus & save lives - NZ Blood Service visiting 21 August

Have you thought about donating plasma? The NZ Blood Service will be on campus 21 August, 12pm – 4:30pm in the Union Hall and is looking for plasma donors. Bring your student ID. Bring your student ID.

Te Whare Tāwharau Centre - Awareness Week 10-14 September

The Centre is a place of shelter to reduce the impact of sexual violence within our campus community. It offers support and prevention programmes and welcomes all students.
The Centre has recently completed training 22 volunteers to work alongside the staff, to ensure survivors of sexual violence have the appropriate support.
An Awareness Week will run from 10 - 14 September where events will be held around campus. A Te Whare Tāwharau Sexual Violence Prevention Symposium will be held on the 13th of September. Check out our website for details of times and dates of events. Check out their website or phone 0800 479 379.
