The Centre For Science Communication was established in 2008 as a subset of the Department of Zoology. Now its own stand-alone department, the Centre is one of the University’s largest postgraduate departments, enrolling around 25 students each year in a competitive programme. After gaining their postgraduate degrees, students from the Centre for Science Communication can be found working in a variety of communication and creative-based roles with NZ and international employers such as NHNZ, National Geographic, Department of Conservation and ADInstruments.
