Teacher resources

Science Wānanga is one of a suite of programmes offered by the University of Otago, to support and encourage science learning for high school students. For students heading into year 12 or 13 you may like to apply for:

Hands-On at Otago

or

The Otago University Advanced School Sciences Academy (OUASSA).

For science teachers, OUASSA runs a teacher professional development program every year which is based on the year 13 curriculum but which may also be useful to year 11 & 12 science teachers.

Further information on OUASSA's teacher professional development programme.

The New Zealand Marine Studies Centre also has a wealth of resources available which focus on New Zealand's unique marine and aquatic environments.
