Manutaki Tuarua Māori
Professor Miles Lamare and Dr Lisa Te Morenga are the Division's Associate Deans Māori.
Miles and Lisa co-ordinate the Divisional response to the Māori Strategic Framework and support Departmental Kaiāwhina, who in turn are the contact point for Māori students in their Departments. They are available to talk to students, researchers and departments about increasing the profile of things Māori in the Sciences.
Miles and Lisa work with Te Huka Mataurāka and HEDC Student Learning Development to explore effective ways to support Māori students in their first year in the Division of Sciences.
