Highlighting the best dental and oral health research in New Zealand

We welcome all those interested in cutting-edge dental and oral health research - dental professionals, practitioners, biomedical researchers, the dental industry, research funders and research users - to join us for SJWRI Research Day 2017, highlighting the research achievements of the University of Otago's Sir John Walsh Research Institute and Faculty of Dentistry.

Registration for SJWRI Research Day 2017 is now open. Registration is free for University of Otago staff and students. External registrations are associated with a modest registration fee to offset the expense of the meeting. The meeting is fully catered, and CPD points are available for all sessions.

The meeting will feature keynote presentations from leading local and international researchers, and sessions exploring research in the areas of clinical and translational research, epidemiology and public health, molecular microbiology, craniofacial biology and clinical oral physiology, dental education, oral molecular and immunopathology, and biomechanics and oral implantology. The programme will feature presentations from academic researchers, invited keynote speakers and postgraduate students, a research poster competition, and the presentation of the 2017 SJWRI Awards.
