Supporting Student Management Systems at the University of Otago

Student management is an important part of the University’s daily business, activities include:

  • Admission and course enrolment
  • Programme and paper selection
  • Timetabling
  • Fee payments
  • Tracking assessment
  • Results and graduation

The Student Management Systems Support Office (SMS Support Office), formally the Academic Services Project Office, was established to support software initiatives and other projects undertaken within Academic Services.

The SMS Support Office is custodian of two major student management systems that manage student activities:
