The environmental chamber allows the simulation of a wide range of environmental conditions (-10oC – +50oC, 0-90% humidity) that athletes may be faced with in competition. With a floor area of 20 m2 the chamber has ample room to fit equipment for training, testing and research.
Design testing utilising the climate chamber has produced some highly effective recommendations such as cooling vests for coping with environmental stress.
