The Māori pre-graduation celebration was an opportunity to celebrate our students' success and to pay tribute to those people who have supported them on their journey for their degree.
The pre-graduation was hosted by Te Huka Mātauraka, the Māori Centre, which provides academic and pastoral care for Māori students while they are studying at the University of Otago.
Each of the students thanked their whānau (family) and spoke of the whanau-like nature of the Bachelor of Physical Education course.
Mā te huruhuru te manu, ka rere. Adorn the bird with feathers and they shall soar.
