You have been screened for COVID–19. Tests take approximately 24 hours to process. A text message advising your results will be sent to your cell phone.

Until you receive your results, you must stay at home, or if in a college in your room. This is current Ministry of Health guidance to prevent spread of infection and minimise contact tracing if required.

If you are in a college we will also advise college wardens that you have had a COVID–19 test and again of your test result. This is to ensure they are aware of extra measures to keep you and the community safe.

If you had a test on a Friday, we will not get results until the following Monday. You must stay at home or in your room until Sunday morning; by this time you can assume the test is negative . We all have a part to play in this pandemic and it is your responsibility to follow this instruction.
We also advise that you should stay at home until you are symptom free.

Taking care of yourself

If you feel more unwell tell your College staff so that they can assist you.
