When you get your ID Card, you will be given a slip of paper with your PIN on it.
PIN: What’s it for?
Note: the PIN is for use on the Dunedin campus only; Please keep your PIN in a safe place, as you will need your PIN for:
- Entry to secured areas and after-hours entry to buildings. If you have problems with building access please contact the Proctor's Office in St David Lecture Theatre, ph 479 5000 or email door.access@otago.ac.nz
- Entry to Computer Resource Rooms
What to do if you forget your PIN
Dunedin campus
If you forget your PIN, and you are on the Dunedin campus, please go to:
- The ID Card Office 9 - 5 weekdays, during semesters. Please take your current Student ID Card with you.
- After hours to Campus Watch in St David Lecture Theatre. Please take your current Student ID Card with you.
