Studholme College is owned by the University of Otago and operated by the Campus and Collegiate Life Services Division as part of the Operations Group. Studholme College is managed by the Warden and their team.
Studholme College has been providing accommodation for students since 1915 and our reputation as being the friendliest College is well known throughout the University of Otago. Built around its original homestead dwelling, surrounded by a beautiful garden and only a five-minute stroll from the University, Studholme is a very popular College with prospective students. Our residents are encouraged to be themselves, work hard, have fun, and keep themselves balanced as they negotiate an exciting year.
Making new friends can be both exciting and scary but within our smaller, caring community it can seem a bit easier. Our dedicated staff set the scene by learning your names long before you arrive. We value being part of a family, with a strong sense of care for each other and our community. Our residents become part our Studholme family not only while they are with us, but long after they have graduated.
Studholme College's vision is to provide an excellent standard of accommodation and service within a friendly accepting environment, conducive for students to succeed in their academic pursuits while having fun.
Successful students in academics, cultural, sporting and community voluntary work are the type of students we select to form our community.
If you would like to be part of a friendly, successful Studholme family and you have something to offer our community of scholars, we welcome your application. Apply for Studholme College online.
