Information
Established in 2021 by the University Otago through generous support from Dr J. F. Hare, the Dr J. F. Hare Music Scholarship supports students from the University of Otago to study Music at Cambridge University, United Kingdom.
Applications must be:
- a New Zealand citizen or New Zealand Residence Class Visa Holders
- enrolled in, or a graduate of, a Music degree at the University of Otago
The following factors shall be considered in selection the Scholarship:
- academic merit
- suitability of the proposed study plans and itinerary
The candidate's financial situation may also be taken into account (i.e. if the candidate would otherwise be unable to study outside New Zealand).
