New results on the demise of Kilimanjaro's glaciers presented at the AGU Fall Meeting 2013 and featured on LiveScience.com

School of Surveying Lecturer Dr Pascal Sirguey presented new results about the retreat of glaciers on Kilimanjaro at the AGU Fall Meeting 2013. This resulted from the creation of a new very high resolution digital elevation model from GeoEye-1 stereo imagery KILISoSDEM2012 recently documented in Survey Quarterly (December 2013). Results show that Credner Glacier could disappear by 2030. This work was featured on LiveScience.com and over 15 science websites.
