It is with much sadness that the School of Survey must announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Chris Hoogsteden, late on Monday the 30th of June at his home in Waitati. A genuine, wonderful man has departed but all of those that have worked with Chris or were taught by him during his thirty-one years at the School of Surveying are richer for the time that he spent with us. Our thoughts are with Eunice and the rest of Chris’ family as they prepare to farewell a loving husband, father and grandfather.
