On 6 July 2017 the New Zealand Region of the Australasian Hydrographic Society (AHS) is holding their Annual Seminar and AGM at Te Kura Kairūri, The School of Surveying at the University of Otago in Dunedin. The day consists of a bus trip to Port Chalmers and afternoon presentations covering the World Hydrography Day 2017 theme “Mapping our seas, oceans and waterways – more important than ever”.

Some BSurv students have been sponsored to join the day by giving presentations and writing events up for a magazine article.
