U3A_Invercargill_2019

For four Fridays in June, staff from the School of Surveying (Mick Strack, Crystal Filep, Christina Hulbe, Tony Moore, Richard Hemi, Paul Denys and Jim Bazsika) presented to the Invercargill branch of U3A on various aspects of surveying.

These presentations were enthusiastically received and it was a pleasure to have such a keen audience. The local organisers sent very positive feedback for “the very interesting and informative talks that you presented. It has certainly stimulated much discussion among the members.” And “Your enthusiasm shone through and your presentation was brilliant. I have heard so many positive comments from our members. You and your colleagues have done the School proud, and have certainly expanded our understanding of Surveying.”

The U3A organisation offered a koha for our contributions which we donated to Chatbus to support Counselling for Children (https://chatbus.org.nz/donate/).
