Welcome to the University of Otago Matariki project 3D-Change Detection WebApp.
This is a web-GIS used to display elevation change data for Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū/Banks Peninsula between 2018 and 2023, as well as recent bathymetric survey in 2021.
The 2018-2023 elevation change is displayed in the red to blue coloured layer on the right displayed onto the 2023 lidar Digital Elevation Surface Model (DSM).
The left panel shows 2019/2020 imagery draped onto 2018 lidar DSM. Images from 1984/2019/2020/2023 can also be selected in either panels.
Interact with the data yourself: Turn layers on and off, pan and tilt the view with a three-button mouse.

Drag the vertical swipe to hide/reveal layers on either side
