SURV454 Environmental Engineering

A discussion of the cause and impact of environmental effects and how environmental engineering is involved in providing the means of avoidance, remediation or mitigation of adverse effects on the environment.

This paper provides an introduction to the cause and impact of environmental effects and how environmental engineering is involved in providing the means of avoidance, remediation or mitigation of adverse effects on the environment. It provides a broad overview of these subjects so that students do not need to have pre-existing technical knowledge in the field of environmental engineering. Its main aim is to provide awareness of environmental engineering and its role in environmental management.

This paper is offered in even-numbered years (e.g. 2022, 2024, etc.)
