  • Community Connections to Place. Funded by Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga for $252,900 (ex GST) September 2018 - December 2020. Researchers: Dr Jackson, Dr Ocean Mercier (Victoria University), Dr Marama Muru-Lanning, Dr Naomi Simmonds (Awanuiārangi), Prof Huia Jahnke (Massey University).
  • Digital solutions to support knowledge and connections. Funded by Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga for $292,219 (ex GST) September 2018 - December 2020. Researchers Dr Hauiti Hakopa and Dr Acushla Dee Sciascia (Massey University).
  • Mātauranga Research Platform. Funded by Brain Research New Zealand for $186,177 from September 2018 - December 2020. Researchers: Professor Hinemoa Elder (University of Auckland), Associate Professor Nicola Kayes (AUT), Dr Anne-Marie Jackson and Miss Chelsea Cunningham.
  • "Kia Ū". Funded by a Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga Seeding Grant 2018 to support Miss Chelsea Cunningham's PhD research in the virtual reality and technological elements of her research in exploring pepeha. Researcher: Miss Chelsea Cunningham. Supervisor: Dr Anne-Marie Jackson.
  • Tangaroa Ara Rau: Māori water safety programme for whānau. Funded by Health Research Council for $1,192,263 (ex GST) June 2019 – May 2022. Researchers: Dr Anne-Marie Jackson, Dr Chanel Phillips, Dr Jordan Waiti (University of Waikato), Prof Chris Button, Dr Jill Haszard, Miss Terina Raureti, Miss Ngahuia Mita, Mr Shaquille Graham (University of Waikato), Mr Rob Hewitt, Mr Brendan Flack, Mr Mark Haimona and Mr Tukaha Milne.
