Te Whare Tāwharau is pleased to announce the inaugural Te Whare Tāwharau Sexual Violence Prevention Symposium to be held on the 13th of September 2018.
Professor Nicola Gavey will offer a keynote for the symposium. She conducted the first survey of sexual violence on campuses in New Zealand in 1991.
University of Otago community members interested in presenting at this symposium should submit an abstract of no more than 250 words by the 1st of August. We invite presentations on any aspect of sexual violence prevention, support or education, this can include research, activism or community related work. Your abstract should summarise your proposed presentation, outlining the key points and highlighting how you or your organisation contribute to sexual violence prevention, support or education.
