Studying tourism at Otago University combines the heritage and prestige of New Zealand’s oldest University, with stimulating and research-informed teaching and learning – set within an innovative and globally competitive regional and national tourism context.
The department offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with the Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Tourism at the undergraduate level and Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism, Master of Tourism, Master of Commerce and PhD at the postgraduate level.
As one of the world’s leading research departments in the field of tourism and related disciplines we are home to an array of leading, internationally recognised researchers and have an extensive and highly active Masters of Tourism and PhD programme with students from around the globe.
