Kia ora koutou, my name’s Isobel. I grew up in Levin (a small town in the lower North Island) and moved to Dunedin to study for my BA. I majored in geography and politics with a few papers in public health and criminology to keep me sane (I’ve written lots of essays over the years so let me know if you need any help!). This year I’m starting my MSc in Surveying - researching how we can make housing more sustainable, accessible, and maybe almost affordable. I love travelling and spending time outdoors, so I’ve been exploring NZ while borders remain closed. I keep active with Scottish country dancing and aerial silks, and in my spare time you’ll find me baking bread, crocheting a blanket or curled up with a good book. I’m always keen for a chat, so say hi if you see me around. Noho ora mai rā!
Kia Ora, my name is Grace and I am currently doing my Honours in History after finishing my Bachelor of Arts where I majored in History and Psychology and minored in Classics. I have engaged with many of Otago university’s opportunities over the past 4 years including going on exchange to Ireland, completing an internship and being a Sub Warden for UNIFLATS for the last two years. When I am not studying or at UNIFLATS, you can find me at UNIPOL where I have worked as Group Fitness instructor since 2018. I love to bake, be outside and participate in whatever game of social sport is going. Despite the disruption and challenges Covid-19 will bring, I am so excited to find new and creative ways to make the most of the upcoming year!
Kia ora, my name is Fraser, and I am in my fifth year of study at Otago. I grew up in the Waikato and moved down to Dunedin to study Geography in 2018. This year I am finishing my Master of International Development and Planning in March, and then doing a Postgrad Diploma in Geography. Outside of Uni, I enjoy Fishing, Camping and Video Games, so often in the Summer you’ll find me out and about checking out the wider Otago region! Whilst this is my first year as a sub-warden for Uni Flats, I’ve been involved in the community as a Kiwi Host for the last two years, and thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Uni Flats. I look forward to meeting you and I hope you make the most of opportunities to get involved in the Uni Flats, and wider university community!
Hello! My name is Linbei and I’m currently in my fifth and final year at Otago studying Dentistry with honours. Growing up, I've lived in a couple of different countries (China, America, Canada) and have now been lucky enough to call New Zealand my home for the past 10 years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the violin, baking (and eating) and being in the outdoors. I also love snowboarding and tramping, both of which are amazing in the South Island. Can't wait to meet you all and I hope you make the most out of our wonderful UniFlats community!

Hello, I’m Katie! This is my 6th and final year studying Law and PPE, although it did take me a little bit of time to decide this was the path I wanted to take. I’m originally from the stunning Queenstown and love to make the most of what Otago has on offer. This is my third year with Uni Flats and I love being part of this community. Along with being a Sub-warden I am also the Vice President of Otago University Snow Sports Club and play rugby for Alhambra Union RFC. If you are interested in getting involved with these or other activities around campus let me know and I am happy to help!
Hey! I’m Zell, and I’m one of your Uni Flats Sub-Wardens for this year. I’m a second-year student studying Applied Geology and Environmental Management. So naturally, you can usually find me outside getting amongst it, whether that be having a chill day at the beach, tramping or just out on a walk looking for rocks. If you ever see me around campus, don’t hesitate to say hello! I have been told I have a severe case of RBF, so don’t let that scare you off. I’m always keen to have a yarn over some coffee or help you out however I can!
Tēnā koutou katoa. Hello Uniflats residents, my name is Jack Campbell. I am one of the sub wardens at Uni Flats and I am a currently studying as a third-year medical student. In my first year of university (2019) I was a resident at Aquinas college where I studied first year health science. If there is anything you would like to know about living in Uni Flats, come see me. I lived in Uni Flats last year - it was awesome - so I have plenty of experience. I was also part of the sustainability neighborhood and I really enjoyed growing the fresh produce, as well as eating and cooking with the veggies from the gardens. Well, the best way to describe myself is basic, I enjoy a good book and walking down the beach with some friends. There’s no denying I have a quite a passion for cooking spicy food and I really enjoy sharing my food with other people. As you may know already know I can’t wait to meet you all and I hope your days at Otago University go well.
Kia ora whānau, I'm Jett, a 3rd year Bachelor of Surveying student.
Originally a North Islander, I'm stoked to have lived in Dunedin for the last three years, making the most of the beautiful surroundings in the South Island.
In my spare time, you'll find me bouldering, playing guitar and running (slowly). I love music and the outdoors, but equally as often, you'll find me reading out in my flat garden in the sun. I also do a bit of work in the sustainability sector, so if that's your thing, I'm always keen to yarn.
I'm excited for my first year as a Sub-Warden at Uni Flats, and looking forward to getting to meet you all. Dunedin's got heaps to offer for everyone, and I'm always keen to share my favourite spots. Do come and say hi if you see me around, and best of luck for 2022!
