Meeting rooms

The following formal meeting rooms are located on the first floor of the Clocktower Building.  They are primarily used for meetings of the University Council and its committees and by the Vice-Chancellor, Chancellor and Clocktower Building staff.

Discretionary use for other meetings is managed by staff in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

Vice Chancellor's Cttee Room

This room is located adjacent to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and  accommodates up to 15 people.

Equipment:  Polycom for audio conferencing; Wireless and network connectivity.

Committee Room North 2017

Committee Room North

Committee Room North is located next to the Council Chamber. This formal meeting room accommates 12 people comfortably around  the table, with seating for up to 23 people. 

Equipment: Integrated data projector and screen; Polycom for audio conferencing; TV for videoconferencing, Wireless and network connectivity.

Council Chamber 2017

Council Chamber

Located at the north end of the first floor, the Council Chamber seats 25 around the board table, with capacity for 100 people at a stand up function.   

Equipment:  Portable screen, Electronic Whiteboard, Microphone and Stand, Lectern, Data Projector, Wireless and Network Connectivity.

Reception Room 2017

Reception Room

This reception lounge is located at the top of the staircase leading from the main Clocktower Building foyer and accommodates 30-35 people at a stand up function, or 17 seated.  Wireless connectivity is available. 

Equipment: Wireless and Network Connectivity.

Catering

Once a meeting room booking has been confirmed, all catering for these rooms must be co-ordinated and ordered through Catering Support, Clocktower Building. Staff are experienced in servicing any type of function and can be contacted by tel 479 8201, email registry.bookings@otago.ac.nz
