Webster Centre member, Professor Kurt Krause, received $150,000 Explorer Grant funding from the Health Research Council to investigate smallpox protein and how they can be used to treat human inflammation. The results obtained could serve as the basis for the development of a transformational virus-based anti-inflammatory treatment.
