The Webster Centre will be sponsoring the Australasian Virology Society's tenth meeting, 2 to 5 December 2019, in Queenstown.
"Many of us have fond memories of the 2013 AVS7 meeting in Queenstown, NZ, which provided a stunning backdrop for scientific exchange and networking. Due to popular demand our AVS meeting (AVS10) is heading back to Queenstown New Zealand. We are pleased to announce that the AVS10 local organising committee chairs are Associate Professor Merilyn Hibma and Dr John Taylor. AVS10 will be held at the Millennium Hotel Queenstown on the 2-5 of December 2019."

Postgraduate students
The Webster Centre will be offering grants-in-aid for postgraduate students, who are in the laboratory of a Webster Centre member, to attend the AVS10 meeting.
Applicants must submit an abstract (for a poster, or a talk) by 5pm 23 August 2019.
