Overview
Associate Professor Jean Hay-Smith has a research programme investigating the effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) interventions, and patient experiences of PFMT. One of the few known predictors of short-term PFMT is self-efficacy but it is less clear if this matters longer-term. This PhD opportunity will investigate uncertainties about longer-term PFMT self-efficacy and PFMT behaviour.
