The Art of Palliative Medicine - 2016 Semester 2
The work depicts my meeting with the patient. The image itself is of an adventurer who is walking through the forest when he comes across a talking mountain. The mountain represents the patient and is a metaphor for his continuing resilience. The trees growing out of him embody his continuing positivity even in the face of adversity. The forest the adventurer is walking through represents my own personal journey through life and how I come across people such as our patient who changes my outlook on life.
