Research interests and activities
Richard Jaine is a public health physician and senior lecturer at the Department of Public Health, University of Otago, Wellington. He is convenor of the 4th year medical student undergraduate course in public health and is involved in both the organising and teaching of the course.
Richard’s current research interests are in tobacco control. He is a member of the ASPIRE 2025 research partnership for a tobacco-free Aotearoa. Previous work includes research on acute rheumatic fever in New Zealand.
