Alex is an Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at CCDHB. He completed his surgical training in the UK and post-fellowship training in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at Westmead Breast Cancer Insitute in Sydney.
He gained a Master of Surgery degree in Oncoplstic Breast Surgery from the University of East Anglia and completed his dissertation on fat grafting after breast cancer surgery. He is a fellow of both the English and Australasian surgical colleges as well as the European Board of surgery.
Research interests include fat grafting, breast reconstruction and patient safety.
