2019 Public Health Summer School

We invite you to join us at the Wellington campus of the University of Otago for this outstanding range of short courses on offer from 11 February – 1 March 2019.

What is the Public Health Summer School?

The Public Health Summer School offers practical 1–4 day courses to anyone who wants to develop their knowledge and skills. It has been providing this training for over 20 years and has grown to become the largest and longest running summer school of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.

The range of courses is vast and changes every year. In 2019 there will be 30 courses on everything from research methods to communication skills to highly topical issues in health.

Who is the Public Health Summer School for?

These short courses are ideally suited for those working, researching or studying in:

  • tertiary institutions
  • district health boards
  • government departments
  • local authorities
  • non-governmental organisations
  • public health services
  • primary care organisations
