NUMEROLOGY (Ode to the Enneagram)
Funny really - you're a one and I'm a six.
John's a one - you know? Same sense of order,
control, desire for perfection.
And me - well fear's my lodestar, my world spins
on knowing anxiety is on the menu.
The cool art of pretending all is well - but not
inside.
Colonic dyspepsia - life's a nervous fart.
That's a good theme - Freud's anal allegory.
You've got the anal retentive fixation,
and I'm a receptor ( no discourse on orientation).
But poor Matt - oral expulsive five !
No fun when so much crap pours from the dialectic
of three dispositions of energy.
Perhaps we can exorcise our demons, the one, the six, the five -
delineate a treaty, put our egos and superegos aside.
