Dick Wordley, Jig for the Hangman.

Peter Bishop, The Final Count. Sydney: Whitman Press, [196-?]. Pulp Literature Special Collections PR9611.B518 F56

Between 1949 and 1951, Whitman Press produced fantasy fiction with titles such as Parasite Planet (1950) and Roar of the Rocket (1950), which featured a huge dinosaur-like monster destroying the Sydney Harbour Bridge. One boxing tale they published was Peter Bishop’s The Final Count, with a cover illustration by Monty Wedd, an Australian cartoonist who created characters such as ‘Captain Justice’ and ‘The Scorpion’ (which was actually banned in Queensland).
