This is a hybrid course with the option of in-person or online attendance. This course involves two weeks of lectures which are livestreamed and recorded. Digital copies of all course materials are available online on the course HS Moodle. Hard copy workbooks will be provided to in-person attendees who select the option to have them printed. All candidates will have access to the 2025 mock examination, as well as the 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021 mock examinations.

In-person attendance includes two social events - a drinks and nibbles evening on Tuesday 11 November, and dinner and dancing at Larnach Castle on Saturday 15 November.

The process of granting access to the course materials will begin after registration closes on 12 October 2025, and will be granted approximately two weeks before the course starts. You will have access to the course materials until the end of February 2026. Please note that you are only eligible to use the following list of resources with your temporary University of Otago credentials:

  • HSMoodle
  • Echo360 (accessible via Moodle)
  • On campus WiFi (for in-person attendees)

If you access any other resources with your username, you are breaching the University’s IT policy.

Your credentials and access to the course materials will be disabled on 28 February 2026

Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellations made up to three months before the course will receive a 100% refund, less an administration charge of NZ$50.

Cancellations made between three months and six weeks before the course will receive a 50% refund, less an administration charge of NZ$50.

Cancellations within six weeks of the course will receive no refund.

Refunds will only be directed back to those accounts from which the initial payment was made.
