Guided Campus Tours
Guided campus tours are available for prospective students and their families. Tours involve a general orientation of the campus and a short visit to two residential colleges, St Margaret's and University College.
If you wish to visit other residential colleges, or if you would like to have a more detailed tour of any of our residential colleges, please contact with the individual colleges directly. Wardens/Masters would be pleased to show you through their facilities, given prior notice to ensure staff availability.
College contacts are available on our website: www.otago.ac.nz/about/accommodation.
For tour enquiries and bookings, please contact Viv Hepburn, viv.hepburn@otago.ac.nz or phone 03 479 8247.
Self-guided tours
The Central Library, open weekends for those visiting outside normal university hours, has a publication called A Visitor’s Guide to the University of Otago available at the Reception Desk. These booklets are also available from the Information Centre in the Link, Monday to Friday.
School group tours
The Schools' Liaison Office offers tours to school groups. Advanced bookings are essential.
